Investing in short-term rental properties

It was almost 6:30 in the evening, on our way home, when we received a phone call from our realtor.  The seller accepted your offer, Congratulations!

My husband and I made a decision to purchase this home just outside of Crystal River, in Florida, to have a weekend getaway home and start a short-term rental.  We were so excited! We closed on September 30, 2019 after two years of being married.  It was the same exact day of our wedding two years later.

We never planned of buying anything on our anniversary, and we had no idea what we signed up for.  It just happened!

We started filming and taking a lot of photos, to share to you our short-term investment rental 101.  We may have missed filming some of the fights and disagreements, but that is probably a good thing!  We wanted to share from how and where we got our budget to how we got our first booking.  We hope that this blog will help you start investing in short-term rentals.
